Cold Laser:

A hand-held, nonsurgical laser using photobiostimulation, which received FDA approval for treating carpal tunnel syndrome. Benefits claimed for cold lasers include increased collagen production, nerve regeneration, bone and tissue repair, vasodilation, enzyme response, cell metabolism, cell membrane potential, pain threshold, and reduced inflammatory duration and edema.

Decompression:

Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a type of motorized traction that may help relieve back pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. That changes the force and position of the spine. This change takes pressure off the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc. As a result, bulging or herniated disks may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This in turn, helps promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks so they can heal.

Aquatic Therapy:

Aquatic therapy is treatment and exercises performed in water for relaxation, fitness, physical rehabilitation, and other therapeutic benefits. Therapeutic exercises may include upper extremity, lower extremity, and overall resistance training. Our physical therapists help determine what exercises would be most beneficial and provide education for safe and appropriate progression. Benefits of Aquatic Therapy include:

1. Added Resistance

2. Strength & Stability

3. Cardiovascular Benefits

4. Pain Reduction

5. Muscle Relaxation
